JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the superintendent and in collaboration with the project team, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring follow-up on sites and payments;
  • Coordinating and planning site activities with the superintendent;
  • Participating in site meetings and ensuring required follow-ups;
  • Managing site-specific communications (notices, access requests, minutes);
  • Overseeing document management and updating site files;
  • Sharing site reports with the various stakeholders.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to analyze and manage invoices;
  • Aptitude for requesting, analyzing and comparing bids;
  • Skills in administrative management of subcontractors (contracts and documentation);
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders (clients, professionals and subcontractors);
  • Excellent organization, thoroughness and sense of priorities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Ability to read and understand plans, directives and technical reports;
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures related to the construction field;
  • Familiarity with site standards and practices;
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools (Excel and Word).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE (REQUIRED):

  • DEC in civil engineering, architecture, construction management or administration;
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or project management (an asset);
  • ASP Construction and training in reading plans (assets);
  • Professional communication, autonomy, team spirit, strong sense of priorities;
  • Neat appearance, respectful attitude and openness to new challenges.
