Sampling

Following the professional’s recommendations of the proposed corrections, we promote the implementation of so-called prototype work. The goal is to proceed in a conservative way: a targeted opening to confirm the origin of the disorder and the corrective method.

To be conclusive, the targeted sampling must be of a significant enough area in order to cover as many elements of finishes as possible and expose as many issues. Although the prototype is carried out to learn more about the problems and the corrections to be made, it is done according to a fundamental principle at Tomico: We repair and we don’t return to it!
Planning and documentation

In order to prevent budget overruns, a thorough planning phase is required. It must, in particular, enable the identification of any unexpected findings during work of this nature. Furthermore, detailed documentation of all the interventions is essential, both to ensure the follow-up of the project and to compile a convincing technical file in case of need.
